1996:
DBUG (Director Boston User Group) created by a group of Director developers lead by
Brent Norris and Roy Pardi.
[The idea for the group was actually conceived on Direct-L. There was also one other group before us that didn't make it. They were lead by a professor at BU from the multimedia dept. --Brent Norris]
1998:
Paul Schwarz takes the helm.
[I personally like Paul's version. . .1998 Paul Schwarz seizes control of BDUG. Attendance drastically increases, profits skyrocket, and the sun shines every single day. Paul is named "Multimedia God of the Universe" by Time Magazine. --Paul Schwarz]
1999:
Group changes its name to MMBUG as growing interest in Flash, DreamWeaver and other Macromedia
products increases.
2000:
Terry Lloyd and Sueyoo take the helm. Sueyoo rebuilds website.
2001:
Terry steps down. Sue steps down. Douglas and Charles will be your co-chairs.
2004:
Roland Crowl implements CSS version of website.
